Brian is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) and is
registered with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers
(CCPDT). The CCPDT is an international testing and certification program
for professional pet dog trainers. This accreditation is given to trainers with experience as lead instructors and who have passed the only standardized exam given for learning theory, natural canine development, animal husbandry, instruction skills, and training equipment, and techniques.
Brian is also an American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator and offers this test frequently.
Brian began formal obedience training in 1994 with his German Shepherd and currently competes with his Belgian Shepherds at AKC Obedience Trials. Brian and his dogs have earned titles at the Companion Dog (CD) and Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) levels. Brian has also completed training and study in the areas of agility and tracking and hopes to participate in those dog sports in the future.

More important than obedience titles and competition, Brian enjoys spending time with his dogs. He and wife, Amy, are never without them. Brian, Amy and their dogs, Griffin and Skye enjoy walking, hiking, playing and working in the yard, as well as much loved trips to the beach.
Brian and Amy are pleased to offer multiple levels of training including Puppy Kindergarten, Basic Obedience, Intermediate Obedience, CGC Training, and Novice Competition classes. Most of these classes are offered in partnership with Three Notch Veterinary Hospital. Brian and Amy also provide private consultations and training.
